As you all know, summer is coming fast. Schools are winding down and if you haven’t already made plans for summer camps it’s almost too late. That’s the reason I’m writing to you today. The new space for the Rock Academy (next to the Asheville Music School West on Patton Avenue) is really looking nice. It’s state of the art with a great stage and soundsystem. Think of it as a great musical playground. The summer camps for the Rock Academy are going to be held there and I’ve just found out that there are still a few spots left in the first week of the Rock Academy Summer Camp. (The 14th of June through the 18th.)
For those of you that haven’t heard about the Rock Academy’s Summer Music Camps …. It’s for all aspiring guitarists, singers, keyboardists bassists and drummers ages 8-17. There will be music theory instruction; rock music appreciation; crash course of live performance skills; elements of song writing, composition and arrangement; studio/rehearsal time; guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and vocal clinics; group instruction with music professionals; live rock show performance for all of your friends & family. All of this in a a state of the art practice and performance environment.
For more information or an enrollment form you can visit rockacademync.com or call the Asheville Music School (West) at 252-1888 or 275-2587. You really need to act now to reserve a spot because the available seats are limited and will go very quickly.
