The Mountain Xpress Give!Local campaign kickoff is November 1st at The Orange Peel, and our Sound Education Outreach Ensembles will be performing, namely Vinyl Crossroads at the AMS Rock Band. Here’s some quick info about the campaign…
THE MISSION
Raise funds and awareness for local nonprofits that make a big difference where we live — and make giving simple and fun, no matter how small or large the gift.
THE METHOD
• Make giving easy on a single website with a simple shopping cart system — that allows gifts from $10 to $10,000, whether to just one or to many nonprofits.
• Offer donors hundreds of fun incentives provided by dozens of area businesses.
Celebrate the kick-off of this two month event. Honorees include the 30 participating nonprofits, the 5 major sponsors, the 40 supporting businesses, and the winner of the first ever Julian Award! Virtual attendance is available at givelocalguide.org.
