PIANO FOR FUN & RELAXATION
Always wanted to play piano? You Can, Now – its a promise! Come to “Piano for Fun & Relaxation” and learn from square one or dust off your rusty skills! You’ll meet in small group classes of adults. You’ll learn to make music in a more relaxed way than in rigorous traditional piano lessons. Current students are finding that they can learn anything they want at any age. They’re making new friends and increasing the quality of fun, health, satisfaciton & accomplishment in their life. The approach is relaxed, supportive, and social, and materials are user-friendly — this is truly pain-free and fun! After learning some basics, students choose their curriculum, which can include reading or playing by ear to play classical or pop music.
Deborah Belcher, a nationally known and upbeat educator, piano clinician, and performer, will be leading these group adventures into the joys of music making.
Classes meet for eight weeks at a time, 50 minutes each week. The next series of classes will begin the week of February 7 and will meet at one of the Asheville Music School’s two convenient locations. There are spaces for absolute beginners as well as those with some experience.
